The Oncor rates can be viewed on the Oncor
Billing and Rate Schdule page. The rates used by Oncor rates are set by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT). The PUCT sets the rates after a careful examination of all Oncor investments in poles, wires and other equipment needed to serve you and the other costs of doing business (payroll, taxes, etc). In a few, limited instances, the city council where you live may also approve a portion of the rate.
